Who We Are
Birth & Beyond is an award-winning home visitation program that provides family support services to pregnant women and families with new babies. Our free and voluntary family support services focus on the primary caregiver and children, but also address the needs of the whole family. There are many services available to Birth & Beyond families, including information on nutrition and breast-feeding, budgeting, health, immunizations, child development, and community resources. The goal of the program is to help build strong families by meeting the needs of growing babies.
What We Do
Birth & Beyond wants to:
Help parents give their baby the most valuable gift of all – an enthusiastic, loving, and nurturing family.
-
Help parents understand and meet their baby’s needs at every stage of their growth.
-
Help babies receive better medical care.
Why Our Program Works
The Home Visitation model engages in ongoing research and evaluation efforts. Please see the attached projects that demonstrate the effectiveness of our Home Visitation model.
